Fruit Snacks
Illustration and animation for Mott's Fruit Snacks, tied to a campaign encouraging reading in underserved communities. Each box came with a free book, and Alex's characters ran across both the packaging and the books themselves: figures designed to feel like proper story characters rather than brand mascots. The campaign made the snack box itself part of the reading experience, with illustration doing the work of drawing kids in before the book was even opened.
